I hate having allergies.  They have become so much worse and there are so many of them.  I realized I was allergic to cucumber yesterday. I am so frustrated.  If it isn't one thing it is another.  I can't take it. I just want to be able to eat what everyone else eats.  It is almost all fruits and vegetables that I am allergic to so it isn't like I can eat healthier to make it better.  I am going crazy because I just want pizza and bread but gluten makes me crazy. 

My gig last night had so many people that we far exceeded fire code capacity and had to kick people out.  I had to text my friends and post on facebook to tell them not to come.  Ridiculous.  The good side of that was that I was paid a percentage for the night.  But still, I was a stressed out disaster.  lol

But I managed to sing for 3 hours and use my new PA system.  Good times.

So I've been thinking and thinking about how in the world can I record an album without any money?!  And I stumbled across this website.  This is a link to some random chick that I picked to demo the website to you.  What an idea.  It's like selling CDs before you  make them.  I think this will help greatly.  If I record it myself and get someone to master it, I still think I'll need at least $3000.  And if I got in a studio I would need at absolute minimum $5000.  I wonder how this works with taxes and stuff.  Hmmmmmm.

I am young uneducated and clueless, but I think I have the right to 

"WTF?!"

for a moment.   Maybe even just to get a little bit of information out of you older educated people.  Ok.  Where do I start?

The last presidential election was the first one that I was old enough to vote in.  Sadly, I was in a religious cult and wasn't allowed to participate in the government at the time.  Not that it would have mattered- by electoral votes, my state agreed with me.  Not that it would have mattered- politicians tend to lie.  But through my teen years everyone complained about George Bush this and George Bush that.  Now it seems that people aren't complaining about Obama.  They're straight up freaked out.  In the last two months I think two things came up that we were particularly appalled by.

1)  Detaining people who didn't do anything, without trial, for as long as they want.

2) The whole SOPA, copyright thing.  Basically making life difficult.

To that first thing, I  can only reply "WTF" because clearly, CLEARLY, that is unconstitutional to the max.  How does that even get proposed?!  

To the second thing I get mad.   I mean, I am a musician and I know that I will never make money on my music because people just copy it and give it to their friends.  That's reality.  But I still like to write a parody now and then.  WTF.  EVERYONE does that.  Everyone in the country is breaking a law somehow here.  And it gives the government way too much power.  Someone get the National Guard in here and knock some sense into our government.  Gosh.  


Now my question here is, did this ever happen before where the people chosen by the people to represent the people decided to go completely against their will?  I am so confused. How can they even have the power or desire to do that?

I am expecting a harsh response or two.  That's ok.  I love to be re-educated. 

Every time I watch this I laugh and cry at the same time.  

I've listened to it at least 30 times since Christmas.   

1)  Lose 10 pounds

2)  Record a new album.  

Last year I had way more, but I only actually accomplished one.  It was a huge one though.  

I am trying to find a job that is :

• 
  Only maybe 2 evenings/nights a week


• 
  Lets me get enough sleep to take care of the kids in the morning


• 
  Allows Dave to stay with the kids so that I don't have to pay for child care which would defeat the purpose


• 
  Doesn't need me to hear very well because I can't


• 
  Is actually a good job for me

This is really difficult.
